Rick Bartley
Senior Property Manager, Leasing Agent

Rick Bartley graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He worked his way through college working as a sub-contractor for two of the largest home remodeling firms in the metro Pittsburgh area. As a contractor, he learned building construction working with a business partner and mentor that had been in the remodeling business for over 20 years.

In 1980, Rick moved to Florida and worked as a technical services representative for a division of a Fortune 500 company that sold specialty chemicals to the commercial and institutional markets in the Tamp Bay area. In that capacity, he became an expert in industrial water treatment products for the cooling towers used for large-scale air conditioning systems used in office buildings and schools and steam generation plants in hospitals, laundries and manufacturing companies. He was involved with and dealt with general contractors, mechanical engineers and contractors, trades people and facilities and support personnel during the construction process of office buildings, hospital additions and schools.

In 1990, Rick became a licensed Realtor. In 1991, he joined Tourtelot Brothers Realtors and learned the business of real estate. In 1993 an opening in the Property Management and Leasing Division became available, and he felt that with his construction background, working as a sub-contractor, and the experience working with trades people, it would be a natural fit for Rick. Fortunately, Bill Tourtelot felt the same about his experience, and hired him into the Property Management and Leasing Division.

Having managed his own property in Pittsburgh after moving to Florida, as well as owning the same home here in St. Petersburg for over 30 years, Rick knows what it’s like being a property owner and what it takes to keep the property up and properly maintained. As the Senior Property Manager at Tourtelot for over 20 years, there is not much that he has not seen or experienced first-hand when it comes to property maintenance and landlord/tenant issues! Rick welcomes the opportunity to provide his expertise and experience in managing your real estate property.
